You’re dressed warm for a fun day outside. Now fill your belly with a warm breakfast sandwich from the Bittersweet Café.

Now that your hunger is satisfied, check out the stage acts and stroll-around entertainment at the Holly Dickens Festival.

Coffee

After you’ve had your fill of fun in the streets, it’s time for a head-to-toe warm up at Battle Alley Coffee. From hot chocolate to specialty coffees, there are lots of drinks to choose from. Once you’ve thawed out, head over the sledding hill during the Dickens Festival in Crapo Park!

Food

Then take a pick for dinner from one of our many great restaurants in town including - Red Devil, Blackthorn Pub, or on the north end Yung's Kitchen, Villages Restaurant, Backroads Bar and Grill, Maruca's Kitchen, or Mikes Coney.

Donuts

Begin your morning with a delicious donut from Holly Donuts! The kids will love standing at the glass and choosing their favorite sweet breakfast treat. But make sure to pack your dollars as they are ‘old school’ and only accept cash.

Head over to Water Works Park and drop in your kayaks or canoes for a leisurely family paddle on the Shiawassee River.

After a scenic float, come back to Holly and enjoy a tasty lunch at one of our many eateries Downtown like Avia Family Dining, Bittersweet Café, Red Devil Restaurant, or the Holly Café.

Saturday Senior Stroll Around Town

Begin your day by learning all about Holly’s historical past at the Hadley House Museum, don’t forget to learn all about our treasured Holly Union Depot.

Then put on your gloves and bonnets and stroll over to the famous Holly Hotel for a three course Victorian Tea.

After you’ve had your fill, it’s time to go treasure hunting Downtown. Holly is known for the best antique shops around! Make sure you visit Battle Alley Arcade Antiques, the Blue Willow Exchange, Holly Antiques, Vintage Farm House, Altered Designs, Soul Shine Trading Co., the Stone Loft, and Balcony Row.

Find the giant Train Mural on the side of RHL Financial Group and take some pictures with your friends!

Set up a time to meet the girls at the big train mural located on the side of the RHL Group, off Broad and Battle Alley. Now it’s time to go SHOP!

From fabulous fashions finds at Marta’s Loft, Raggs Boutique, Creative Fashions, the Stone Loft, or midtown at Thoughtful Threads to unique finds from Pigeon in the Parlour, Iron Wood Refinery, Blumz, Artichoke Interiors, Altered Designs, It's a Dozy, Junior David's, Langco Jewelry, Monarch Design, or Tinsmen Farms there is something for everyone! There are so many lovely shops to visit in Downtown Holly. After your hands are full of bags, you will only have one thing on your mind… wine!

Holly has great options for some dinner and drinks with your gals. Some of our favorites are Andy’s Place, Bittersweet Café Red Devil, Holly Cafe, the Moose, or Blackthorn Pub. If you get it from a Battle Alley Social District Restaurant you can take it to go and enjoy it our historic Battle Alley under the lights!

Once the sun sets, make your way to Battle Alley to enjoy the ambiance of the street under the lights. Ask a passerby or snap a selfie under the lights or pose next to the giant HOLLY big top mural in Alley Street.
